Q: What order will the contestants go on stage?
A: Contestants will go in order of their age groups with the contestant who got their entry form in first having first choice for position, then last to first in order of entry received.

Q: Are we required to stay overnight in the hotel?
A: No.  However, we will not be reserving a dressing room for contestants use during the day.   If you would be interested in sharing a room with 2-3 other contestants just for one day please contact us at nwuniversal@comcast.net.   We can coordinate this for you or you may do it on your own. 

Q: Will there be a BOY Supreme?
A: We will add a boy supreme if we have at least 5 boy contestants entered in the largest packages.   The supreme King will receive the same prizes as the Grand Supreme  winners and it will be based on the same criteria.

Q: Can you win both UMMI and UF?
A: YES.   ALL Universal Faces events will occur before any UMMI events. You may compete in one pageant or both.

Q: Does UMMI "Beauty" include non-glitz, straight-T sportswear and Interview  like Nationals?
A: YES. Your UMMI "Beauty" score consists of the following events: Formal Wear, Straight T Sportswear, Interview and Glamour. The score combination from all these events constitutes your beauty score.
NEW THIS YEAR - UF "Beauty" score consists of on-stage T-shirt competition and Interview.

Q: Is there a limit on the number of Talents or Contestants Choice Modeling events a contestant can perform for UMMI?
A: Yes - the limit is 3There is a fee for extra talents/modeling and the contestant must be sure to keep to the time limits. TWO talents are REQUIRED to qualify for GRAND TALENT. TWO modeling events are REQUIRED to qualify for UMMI GRAND MODEL. TWO party wear events are REQUIRED to qualify for GRAND BEAUTY and TWO casual wear entries are required for UF GRAND MODEL.

Q: Will there be an interview competition or a contestants party?
A: YES! Interview will be immediately following registration. Interview will be limited to 3 minutes. We will have a party Friday evening and an awards banquet following competition on Saturday. The banquet will be comprised of a pasta bar featuring 2 pasta choices and 2 sauce choices, breadsticks and salad.  We will also be handing out some UMMI awards at the dinner and ALL of the UF awards.

Q: What is the schedule for the pageant?
A: The following schedule is VERY tentative and scheduled to change based on the number of contestants.  However you may use it as a guide:

Q: Can we bring our own music for the Contestants Choice competition?
A: YES!

Q: Does Contestants Choice have to be ProAm?
A: No it does not - it is defined as Free Style modeling - so you may choose the style you wish to perform. Westernwear, vogue, proam are all possiblilities - however you are also welcome to do straight-T, Swimwear or any other style you wish. If you would like to perform ProAm and a different modeling style - you may do that for the $25 extra model fee and the higher of the two scores will be used for your Contestants Choice score.
